Fish passage, natural flows and tidal flushing returned at Duroby Creek weir, on Duroby Creek in April 2008 as a part of the Bring Back the Fish project. The removal improved fish passage to 10 km of tidal habitat in Duroby Creek and reinstated tidal flushing. The unlicensed block bank weir was removed over 3 days.
