Improved fish passage and floodgate management at Jellat Jellat Creek in the Bega River catchment as a part of the Bring Back the Fish project. The installation of winch controlled floodgates and safe work platform improved fish access to 9 km of freshwater habitat including 375 ha of wetland. The better management allowed for longer opening and closing periods when appropriate.
