Fish passage and natural flows returned at Skewes Crossing (Casuarina Lane), on Orara River in Spring 2008 as a part of the Bring Back the Fish project. The alteration restored fish passage to 96 km of freshwater habitat in the Orara River. The single celled causeway had a rock-ramp fishway added over 10 weeks.
