Native riparian vegetation and habitat for Australian bass in the Deua River in the Deua River Valley is coming under increasing pressure from invasive exotic plant species. Invasive exotic plants such as privet, willows, wild tobacco and vine weeds were controlled in a reach of the river 8 km in length, and the area revegetated with 500 native plants. Completed in 2012.
