In recent times, habitat in the Delegate River has degraded as a result of livestock access, erosion and weed infestation becoming inaccessible to recreational users. Two (2) kilometres of riparian fencing, revegetation and erosion protection works, and 4 km of weed control was conducted along the Delegate River around Delegate township. Completed in 2012.
