Seabreeze Beach Hotel Fishing Club worked to protect an area of mangrove and saltmarsh habitat by improving vehicle management through fencing and definition of access pathways at a popular recreational fishing spot adjacent the south breakwall of the Macleay River. Uncontrolled vehicle and pedestrian traffic was causing great damage to the fragile saltmarsh endangered ecological community and mangrove habitat. Traffic is now directed around this area in a more orderly fashion. Completed in 2014.
