Stewarts River Weir full-width rock-ramp fishway

The Stewarts River Weir is a concrete fixed crest structure is considered a barrier to fish passage during base flows due to excessive headloss across the weir crest. A full-width rock-ramp fishway was constructed at Stewarts River Weir opening up 63.5 km of habitat for native fish. Completed in 2010.
